Self-Levelling Flexible Flooring ResinPolyurethane Based Self-Levelling Flexible Flooring Resin
FlexDEC® 2K Specially formulated Polyurethane based is a two component for self-leveling floor application solvent free material that upon curing produces a strong, flexible film with excellent adhesion to various surfaces.
FlexDEC® 2K may be offered in a non- combustible version FlexDEC® 2K Marine product certified for ship metal decks according to fire Testing FlexDEC® 2K the product is based on pure hydrophobic polyurethane resin plus special inorganic fillers that provide the material with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance.
FlexDEC® 2K is a non-toxic product in case of contact with food products and drinking water. It can be used indoors and outdoors.
If requested surface protection: We recommend our Full aliphatic water based matte TopcoatDEC® SF-2K product for 100% resistance to sunlight in indoor and outdoor applications.

Indicatively around 1,3 kg/m²/mm of thickness.
Concrete substrate conditions (standard): Hardness: R28 =15 MPa Humidity: W < 10% Temperature: from (+5 °C to +40 °C) Relative humidity: < 80% Remove from the floor oil, grease ,wax contaminants, cement laitance, loose particles, mold and release agents The application surface must be dry. Fill surface irregularities with adequate products. Primer must be applied on relatively fresh concrete or in cases where negative pressure may cause the material to bubble. In these cases, either apply several coats of EpoxyPRIMER® 2K our water based epoxy primer can be charged with sand as described in the respective technical data sheet. For substrates that need to be made stronger, the one component penetrating primer Primer® D-1K should be used.
Mixing FlexDEC® 2K Start mixing component A+B and use a low speed (300 rpm) electric drill until the mixture is completely homogenous.
Apply FlexDEC® 2K As Self-Leveling; Depending on demand, 1 to 10 mm thickness can be applied in a single coat. Apply undiluted with a notched trowel, squeegee or roller. As soon as the material is applied, use a spiked roller to remove entrapped air.
Topcoat FlexDEC® 2K is a polyurethane system and therefore will be very low discolor when exposed to UV. For color protection, traffic/abrasion resistance as well as providing an easy clean and unique final satin finish , we recommend our Full aliphatic water-based TopcoatDEC® SF-2K product for 100% resistance to sunlight and surface scratches.
Cleaning Clean your tools and equipment with Cellulosic thinner during the application phase.
